Terms of Service

Last modified: June 18, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Ignis, a fire safety compliance SaaS operated by DXJ SOLUTIONS LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16239039, having its registered office in the United Kingdom. By accessing our application and using our platform, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Site.

2. Scope of Services

Ignis provides cloud-based software services to assist building managers, safety teams, and external auditors in recording, planning, and organizing fire safety equipment inspections, fire alarm test schedules, and maintenance routines. The platform is designed to track compliance progress but does not replace professional building management audits.

3. Accounts, Roles, and Multitenancy

  • Team Managers are responsible for managing billing, properties, invites, and customizing the organization's configuration.
  • Team Members are authorized to run drills and log inspections.
  • External Contractors receive read-only or restricted resolution views for failed assets.

You must keep account credentials confidential and secure. Ignis utilizes team-scoped data isolation to ensure no team's properties or assets are exposed to another organization.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site and the materials published on it. You are granted a limited license to print or download extracts for use within your organization, but you must not modify copies, use visuals separately from text, or use content for commercial licensing without our express consent.

5. Payments, Fees, and Subscription Terms

To register an organization/team and configure active property workspaces, Team Managers are required to pay a registration fee or maintain an active subscription (as configured during checkout). All payments are processed securely via Stripe. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete billing information. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable unless required by law. Failed payments or card expirations may result in immediate suspension of organization workspaces and audit logging routes.

6. Limitations and Exclusion of Liability

CRITICAL COMPLIANCE NOTICE: Ignis acts as a ledger/tool for tracking fire safety activities. The physical compliance, legal responsibility, and execution of fire safety actions remain solely with the building owner, manager, and the designated fire safety officer. We exclude all liability for indirect or consequential damages, loss of business opportunity, property damage, fire incidents, or regulatory penalties arising from compliance failures.

7. Law and Disputes

These Terms, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by English law. You and we both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

1. Ignis as Data Processor

We process data entered by organizations (such as building addresses, device locations, audit photographs, and inspector names/signatures) as a Data Processor on behalf of our venue clients, who act as the Data Controllers. We have no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data is entered into the system.

2. Data We Collect

We collect seeker/auditor names, emails, property maps, photos of faults, device model details, and timestamps to generate compliance certificates and audit history trails. Additionally, we capture technical information (IP addresses, browser types, and full clickstream URL pathways) for diagnostic and security audits.

3. Security, Storage, and Cookies

Data is stored securely on servers in the EU/UK region. Media uploads are restricted and handled via secure storage endpoints. Historical audit logs are kept immutable to preserve safety logs for insurance and fire marshals. We utilize functional session cookies to verify authenticated routes and maintain active property workspaces.
